Gyalsey, The Royal son to whom, His Majesty the King (Father) gifted to the nation as the people's son, has opened the night into dawn. The most awaited moment of the people of Bhutan is now filled with happiness and rejoiced every seconds of their life. I responded to the knock on my door as early as 5am with the phrase, "Congrats! Gyalsey is born". Hearing this phrase, with the joy in my heart I thought of jumping into the air as high as I could but it's weird I thought and turn to my self-designed altar murmuring mantras, thanking God for answering the prayers of every Bhutanese people, nation as a whole. I immediately flipped my prayer book, sited in lotus position to have sort of my gratitude prayers. People wish not more than to have their hereditary king who lead, guides and protect them in every walks of life. For now everyone is tearing out of joy, smiling, laughing, calling to each other just to say, "Gyalsey is born" and to let know how happy they are.
I can't express my happiness in words but I am really jubilant. As a young citizen of the country, in my prayer I vowed to serve the King, Country and the People of Bhutan with utmost dedication. And I promised to create a blog that will help me to grow as a more responsible citizen of my beautiful country, Bhutan.
